Personal Life

In May 2019, officers at the São Paulo–Congonhas Airport detained Holland and denied her entry into Brazil, claiming that her Brazilian visa was invalid. Roden said that authorities treated her like a criminal and denied her food and water, despite the fact that she possessed a valid passport and visa. She subsequently wrote on Instagram, "After two years of traveling to Brazil with this passport and this visa with no problems, to meet fans and make friends, I am taken aback by the accusations and the treatment that faced me from the Brazilian Police today. I am shocked that this is the same Brazil I know and love. I hope I get to see all of you tomorrow. We are doing everything we can. We know how many cars, buses, and planes y'all took to come see us….and don't want to let you down. Please urge your country to have reasonable treatment to people entering the country with valid identification." Holland was detained for around 24 hours, then she was allowed to enter the country.
