Anthony Sullivan is a British infomercial pitchman, producer, and author who has a net worth of $6 million. After creating the "Smart Mop" in the early 1990s, Anthony Sullivan went on to "pitch" multiple products on the Home Shopping Network, eventually becoming their primetime network host. He subsequently formed his own company, and he has also appeared on various reality shows. 'Sully' has been featured on USA Network's "Eco-Challenge," "Rachael Ray," "Good Morning America," "The Today Show," "Hollywood 411," "Access Hollywood," "Inside Edition," "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien," and news programs on major television networks. Sullivan starred on the Discovery Channel reality series "PitchMen" from 2009 to 2011. In the first season, he co-starred alongside the wildly popular pitchman Billy Mays. Anthony also published the 2017 book "You Get What You Pitch For: Control Any Situation, Create Fierce Agreement, and Get What You Want In Life."

Early Life

Anthony Sullivan was born on February 11, 1969, in Devon, United Kingdom. He moved to the U.S. in the early '90s and collaborated with a manufacturing company to launch the "Smart Mop." He left HSN in 1998 and formed the Florida-based company Sullivan Productions.

Career

In 2009, Sullivan began starring on the Discovery Channel reality series "PitchMen" alongside Billy Mays. After Mays died of heart disease in June 2009, Anthony became the show's sole star. Sullivan met Mays in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1993 and later forged a friendship with him when they worked together on the Home Shopping Network. After learning about Billy's death, Anthony stated, "I hate to say it, but the king is dead. I'll always remember his booming voice — him saying, 'Hi, Billy Mays here!' He was the best friend a man could wish for. He was much more than people knew." After Mays died, Sullivan became the pitchman for OxiClean, one of the products Billy was known for promoting.

Anthony was an executive producer on "PitchMen," and he has produced and starred in commercials for products such as Sticky Buddy, Swivel Sweeper, and Tap Light. He also served as an executive producer on the TV special "Pitchman: A Tribute to Billy Mays" and the reality series "Kings of Kush." In 2017, Sullivan published the book "You Get What You Pitch For: Control Any Situation, Create Fierce Agreement, and Get What You Want In Life," which he co-wrote with Tim Vandehey. In the book, Anthony "reveals the secrets behind his seemingly superhuman ability to persuade others–even if they start out regarding you with suspicion or even hostility."

Personal Life

Anthony is an avid surfer and cyclist. In 2019, Sullivan founded the natural CBD brand MONTKUSH. According to the company's website, "The inspiration for this project is Anthony's daughter Devon. She was born with a rare genetic disorder and has dealt with more medical issues in her short life than most people do within a lifetime. When a prescribed medication caused her to lose 20% of her body weight and practically erased her vibrant personality, CBD proved life-changing for Devon. Her experience was our motivation to start MONTKUSH." Sullivan and his business partner, Dave Christian, purchased more than 100 acres of land in Vermont and planted 75,000 CBD industrial hemp plants there.
