What is Lea Black's Net Worth?
Lea Black is an American businesswoman, philanthropist, reality television star, and author who has a net worth of $85 million. Lea Black is best known as one of the original stars of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Miami," where she appeared as a main cast member during its first three seasons starting in 2011. Prior to her rise on reality TV, Lea established herself as a savvy entrepreneur and beauty innovator—launching the Sudden Youth skincare line in the 1980s and eventually developing over 400 products under brands like Lea Black Beauty. This business foundation brought her credibility and a distinctive voice in beauty and wellness.
She is also known for her marriage to prominent criminal defense attorney Roy Black, who gained national attention for representing high-profile clients, including Justin Bieber, Helio Castroneves, William Kennedy Smith, Rush Limbaugh, and Jeffrey Epstein. His legal reputation and courtroom success added an extra layer of public intrigue to Lea's persona, and their dynamic as a couple was often featured on the show. Roy and Lea first met in the early 1990s when she was a juror on the William Kennedy Smith trial. Nine months after the case, they bumped into each other and Roy asked her out. They married in 1994, had one son together, and remained together until Roy's death in July 2021 at the age of 80.
Beyond television and cosmetics, Lea has made her mark as an author with "Red Carpets & White Lies," a fiction novel set against Miami's socialite backdrop. She has maintained a media presence through her podcast and web series "Lunch With Lea Black," and frequent appearances on Bravo programs like "Watch What Happens Live" and "Flipping Out." Her long-running philanthropic work—especially through "The Blacks' Annual Gala" and her Consequences Charity, which has raised millions for at-risk youth—further solidifies her standing as a businesswoman, media personality, and Miami social fixture."

Personal Life
Lea married Roy Black on October 7, 1994. The two met when Lea was a juror in the 1991 William Kennedy Smith trial, and they ran into each other nine months later, after Roy had separated from his second wife. He asked Lea to dinner, and though she was in a relationship with Al Perkins, a business associate, she accepted, thinking they were "going to reminisce about the trial." Six months later, Lea broke up with Perkins and began a relationship with Roy.
The couple has a son, RJ, who has appeared on "The Real Housewives of Miami," and Lea is stepmother to Nora, Roy's daughter from his marriage to Naomi Morris Black.
Unfortunately, Roy died on July 21, 2025, at the age of 80.
The Black's Annual Gala
Since 1992, Lea and Roy have hosted the charity event The Black's Annual Gala and have raised millions of dollars to help the youths who are involved with Lea's nonprofit organization, The Consequences Charity. The charity's purpose is to "empower at-risk youth through education, after-school activities, counseling, and intervention."
