Rie Tanaka & Eriko Nakamura as THE iDOLM@STER's Takane & Haruka - Pepper Keibu
Seiyuu (voice actresses) Rie Tanaka and Eriko Nakamura perform a 2009 electropop/technopop cover version of the 1976 debut hit single of the famous Japanese female pop duo Pink Lady, "Pepper Keibu" ("Inspector Pepper"). Morning Musume also released a Japanese hit single cover version of "Pepper Keibu" in 2008. The Nico Nico Douga music video, uploaded by ゴルPã•ã‚“, uses a couple of characters from THE iDOLM@STER and THE iDOLM@STER 2 games from Namco, Takane Shijou and Haruka Amami, to lip sync and dance to "Pepper Keibu." The girl with the long silver/white hair, Takane Shijou, lip syncs to Rie Tanaka's vocals, while the girl with the short brown hair, Haruka Amami, lip syncs to Eriko Nakamura's vocals. Ironically, Eriko Nakamura is also the speaking and singing voice of Haruka Amami, the main heroine, in THE iDOLM@STER games and the 2011 television animation series, THE iDOLM@STER. Yumi Hara is the speaking and singing voice of Takane Shijou in THE iDOLM@STER games and the 2011 TV anime series. This is one of four cover versions I mentioned in the description of an earlier music video I uploaded of Japanese pop hit songs from the 1970s and 1980s sung by Rie Tanaka and released in 2009. (I have already uploaded music videos of two of the other three cover songs, "PLAY BACK PART 2" and "Mizu no Hoshi he Ai wo Komete.")
