The Lost World - 1925 - Not Rated [NR] - 106 Minutes - Directed by: Harry O. Hoyt The Lost World is a silent film adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's 1912 novel of the same name. The movie was produced by First National Pictures, a large Hollywood studio at the time, and stars Wallace Beery as Professor Challenger. This version was directed by Harry O. Hoyt and featured pioneering stop motion special effects by Willis O'Brien (original King Kong) In 1998, the film was deemed "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant" by the Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry. This film is represented here in it's entirety for film preservation. This was transferred with a loss-less codec and is the best quality you can find. Be sure to adjust your player for 480p or above if available.
