BSA Silver Beaver Awards - Tim Tyler

Eagle Scout Timothy Tyler inspires countless youth and adults through his dedication to Scouting. As a member of the Maramech Hill District , he's the Unit Commissioner, member of the Cub Camp Staff, Activities Committee, and former District Commissioner. For the Council, Tim is the Order of the Arrow Lodge Adviser, Associate Lodge Adviser, and NOAC. Tim is also the Scoutmaster and a Committee Member for Troop 71 and Crew 7452. Tim has received the Scouter's Training Award, Wood Badge, Scouter's Key, Arrowhead Award, Adult Religious Award, District Award of Merit, Founders Award and Scoutmasters Award of Merit. Timothy and his wife Kathy live in Plano, and our proud parents of Eagle Scout, Ryan. They're active members of the First Lutheran Church of Plano, where Tim is a Confirmation Instructor, has been on the church council, and served as a high school Sunday school teacher and Youth Group Director. Timothy is a teacher at the Plano Middle School where he was the Association President, 8th grade Team Leader, Middle School Athletic Coach, High School Athletic Coach, and currently is on the Plano District Leadership Team and Homework Club Supervisor.
