Dave Bickler is an American vocalist who has a net worth of $3 million. Dave Bickler was born in North Dakota in March 1953. He is best known for being the lead singer for the band Survivor. He was one of two singers for the band Jamestown Massacre which had a hit with the single "Summer Sum". Dave worked on commercial jingles where he met Jim Peterik. He was an original member of the rock band Survivor from 1977 to 1983. He later rejoined the band from 1993 to 2000. With Survivor Bickler recorded the albums Survivor, Premonition, Eye of the Tiger, and Caught in the Game. In addition to singing he also played keyboards. Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" became the theme song for Rocky III after Sylvester Stallone asked the band. The song hit #1 on the Billboard charts for seven weeks and won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal. The song also received a People's Choice Award and was nominated for an Academy Award. He left the band after developing polyps on his vocal chords. He rejoined the band but was fired in 2000. In 2013 the band once again reunited. He has worked in commercials and advertisements and is featured in the Budweiser "Real American Heroes" and "Real Men of Genius" ad campaigns. In 2009 Bickler posted songs from a new album he was working on.
