Frank Edin Wright III, better known as Tre Cool, as an estimated net worth of $45 million. From a young age, Tre Cool nourished his net worth as a musician and drummer for some of the most reputable rock/alternative bands, The Outlook and Green Day. German-born Tre Cool moved to California with his father and sister. This is where he struck gold. His next door neighbour was the then-singer of The Lookouts, Larry Livermore. The two got on like a house on fire and eventually, Livermore took on the 12 year old as a drummer of his band. Livermore also invented the stage name for the child drummer, Tre Cool – a stage that is still used to this present day.
Tre Cool went on to become the drummer of punk rock group, Green Day, replacing John Kiffmeyer. He dropped out of high school as his time with the band was becoming more of a priority. However there was trouble ahead, as the band contemplated breaking up. Band members found it hard to adjust to Tre's drumming techniques.
After much deliberation, Green Day continued with Tre and went on to become a multi-award winning punk rock act. In the late eighties Tre Cool made history at MTV Awards, which took place at Universal Studios. He climbed the Universal Studio Ball, after the band won an award. To this day, he is the only person to pull this stunt.
Tre Cool is more than just a Green Day drummer (and a prankster): he wrote, sang and played guitar on tracks, Dominated Love Slave for the 1992 Green Day's album Kerplunk. He also wrote and produced the track, All by Myself for the 1994 Green Day's album Dookie. He also wrote and sang Rock and Roll Girlfriend for the group's 2004 classic album, American Idiot.
