They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 and received the Ivor Novello Outstanding Contribution to British Music "Lifetime Achievement" Award in 1996. The Faces split in 1975 and McLagan worked for The Rolling Stones as a sideman. He has worked as a session musician for Chuck Berry, Bob Dylan, Jackson Browne, Joe Cocker, Bonnie Raitt, Melissa Etheridge, Paul Westerberg, Frank Black, John Mayer, and Bruce Springsteen.
