He began playing poker tournaments in 1997 and has appeared at 31 World Series of Poker final tables. Negreanu was on "High Stakes Poker" for six seasons and "PokerStars Big Game" for two. He landed the role of spokesperson for online poker website Poker Mountain in 2005, where he played as KidPoker. He left the company after a software issue that eventually torpedoed the website.
