Jet Li (born Li Lian Jie) is an actor, film producer, martial artist, wushu champion, and international film star with an estimated net worth of $55 million dollars. Li is known for his roles in martial arts films in America. Li began intensive training with renowned wushu-coach Wu Bin for three years, and won his first national championship for the Beijing Wushu Team. After retiring from wushu, Li won great acclaim in China as an actor before appearing in American films. Li's first Hollywood film had him cast as a villain in Lethal Weapon 4. Li appeared in other films, including Romeo Must Die, The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor, The Forbidden Kingdom, Ocean Heaven and The Expendables. Li is a master of Changquan and Fanziquan styles of wushu. Li has studied other arts including Taijiquan, Baguazhang, Zuiquan, Tanglangquan, Xingyiquan, and Yingzhaoquan.
