He lost his job with Patriarch Partners after making an appearance with Frankel on the show, causing executives at Patriarch Partners to send a termination letter immediately. Colodne sued his former employer, Patriarch Partners LLC, for $55 million for allegedly ousting him without cause. Later, along with former Chimay Capital Management co-worker Jason Beckman, the New York-based businessman co-founded Colbeck Capital Management in 2009.
