Shakir Stewart was born in California and has an estimated net worth of $50 million dollars. After graduating from college, Shakir opened his own recording studio and was quickly noticed by L.A. Reid, who brought him to Hitco Music Publishing. With an excellent eye for talent, he went on to sign such artists as Beyonce, Ciara, and Young Jeezy, and was the Executive Vice President of Def Jam Records. He passed away in 2008.
