Melker Schorling is the owner and chairman of investment company Melker Schorling AB. Born in 1947, he holds a master's degree in business administration from Gothenburg School of Economics. He first made a name for himself as CEO of the Swedish security services, monitoring, consulting and investigation group, Securitas, before moving on to Skanska, a multinational project development and construction company, again, Swedish. However, Schorling decided to abandon his executive career and to focus on his own investments instead. It was in 1999, when he established Melker Schorling AB (MSAB), which holds stakes in Securitas AB, Assa Abloy, Hexagon AB, Loomis among others.
