Bernard Broermann is a German entrepreneur who has a net worth of $3 billion. Born on 20 November 1943 in Damme, Germany, he made his fortune as the founder of private hospital Asklepios, named after the Greek God of medicine. First, Broerman studied medicine and chemistry at University of Munster, but then, he transferred to practicing law and accounting in Berlin. During his studies, Broermann launched Capital Trust for SEC that was a controlled fund with offices in Berlin, Hamburg, Kiel and Munich.

After his graduation, he sold the company, and later, in 1984, Broermann started his first private hospital, which is currently one of the three leading private hospitals in Germany. Moreover, his chain of hospitals holds around 140 hospitals all over the world, including California, China and Russia, and has more than 44, 000 employees. Also, holding an MBA of Harvard University, Broermann started the Dr. Broer Man Foundation which primarily seeks to endorse intervention.
