What are the richest counties in America? Are they all by the major cities, or are there rich counties in the heartland? We checked with the US Census Bureau's statistics and found the top 10 highest-income counties by median household income:

10] Montgomery County, Maryland

Median Household Income – $93,999

Population – 942,747
