Mel Gibson has made a plea deal that involves no jail time. He will be in court on Friday to plead no contest to simple battery, which is a lesser charge than corporal injury on a spouse. The incident took place on January 6th 2010 with Oksana Grigorieva, Gibson is taking the plea to protect his family, and not cause them are more stress.
