Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen's helicopter crashed in the the ocean off the coast of Argentina yesterday. Allen wasn't aboard but he would have been later in the day to catch a lift to Antarctica.

James Cameron is upset with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for not giving Christopher Nolan a best director Oscar nomination for Inception. Cameron said "I think that it's the most astounding piece of film creation and direction of the year, hands down … but now it's not even in the running. So I diverge from the Academy's taste in a lot of ways."

Zsa Zsa Gabor was rushed to the hospital this morning. Gabor had a leg amputated last week due to an antibiotic resistant lesion that wouldnt go away. Her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt said "there was a lot of blood coming from her mouth" this morning.

Halle Berry and ex Gabriel Aubry are in the midst of a bitter custody battle over their two year old daughter Nahla.

Jessica Simpson took to twitter to quash the rumor that she was joining Simon Cowell as a host of the American version of X Factor. Simpson also left a generous $300 tip at an Italian restaurant in NYC.

Super producer The Dream and Christina Milian are in the midst of a divorce battle. Apparently The Dream promised Milian a 10% interest in Justin Bieber's smash hit "Baby" which he co-wrote.

South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are taking on Broadway with a new musical titled "The Book of Mormon". Hope it turns out better than that Spiderman musical.
