However, they don't come cheap. In fact, one rents for just over $25,000 per night!

Megève Chalet – Mont Blanc, France – $25,122 per night

This French Chalet in Mont Blanc sleeps 12 adults and 4 children, so you can split it with your friends and spend a mere $1,570 per night. A bargain! But seriously, Megeve offers the discerning traveler everything you could possibly want.

The chalet has seven en-suite bedrooms. There are four double suites in the master chalet and two double bedrooms in the guest chalet. The children's bedroom, which sleeps four, is also in the guest chalet. Every bedroom has its own mini bar, safe, and plasma TV.

The chalet also has a heated outdoor infinity pool as well a an indoor pool, sauna, and gym. The chalet's private chef prepares the meals and the wine cellar has an a la carte wine list for your imbibing pleasure. After dinner you could head out to the heated outdoor lounge for cocktails or relax in the home movie theatre.

You can arrive at the chalet via helicopter and land on the chalet's own helipad. The property's garage can accommodate 12 cars. The chalet is located just above the Jaillet ski lift on the Jaillet piste. You can ski in and out of your chalet as well.

 

Chesa Falcun Chalet, Klosters, Switzerland – $14,508 per night

This Swiss chalet was built in 2008 and overlooks the entire Klosters valley. The four-story house features sunny outdoor terraces and inside is decorated with modern furnishings. The chalet has six spacious bedrooms that all have either a private terrace or a balcony. The master suite has a fireplace and double height ceilings. The chalet also has a seventh bedroom for staff of its guests.

The property also features a sauna, relaxation room, steam shower, massage room, and an outside covered Jacuzzi. The garage can house six cars. There is a ski room with boot heaters. The nearby village has exclusive nightclubs patronized by royals and celebrities.

 

La Matriosque, Cannes, France – $10,467 per night

 If you dream of summering in Cannes, here's your chance for just under $11,000 a night. Located in a chic residential neighborhood just a five-minute drive from the Casino and La Californie beach, this property is two large, separate villas surrounded by a lush garden. It is ideal for a glamorous vacation on the Cote d'Azur. Combined, the villas can sleep up to 14 people in seven bedrooms.

La Matriosque comes with its own chef. There are two swimming pools, a gym, and a sauna. The rooftop terrace features lounge chairs and a breathtaking view of the bay of Cannes. The villas are situated well to take in the designer shops of the Rue d'Antibes. Within an easy drive away lie Nice, Cap Ferrat, Antibes, Monte Carlo, Villefranche-sur-Mer, and Italy.

 

51 La Danse Des Etoiles, St Barts, Caribbean – $9,241 per night

This impressive property features walls of chiseled stone that took a team of stonecutters nearly two years to complete. The villa has three bedrooms and can sleep up to six people. The house features a rare collection of Asian antiques from Shanghai, Bali, Beijing, and Hong Kong. The house takes advantage of its Caribbean location with an enormous teak desk and a crescent shaped Indonesian black volcanic stone pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Bungalows on Private Island in Porto Frado, Brazil – $9,074 per night

The island is a private piece of paradise that holds several villas. This property is the largest with four large bungalows. The island is secluded–only residents have access to the area and travel to and from the island is by boat. The bungalows have straw roofs and exposed beams. The terraces hover above the water on stilts.

Each bungalow has a different purpose. Two of them are the living spaces with seven bedrooms total, each with a private bathroom. Every room has access to the outside. The structures are built over the water and feature glass floors enabling guests to watch fish swim by just beneath their feet.

The third bungalow houses the kitchen, pantry, wine cellar, and laundry room. The fourth bungalow is a huge round glass walled hut built entirely over the water. The property has an infinity swimming pool. A chef and maid are included in the rental fee.
