Infamously thin supermodel Kate Moss is now lighter in the wealth department, too. A team of burglars recently broke into her London home and stole a number of art pieces from Miss Moss, including a Banksy portrait of the supermodel valued at $115,000. The family was sleeping at the time, so no one got hurt. One suspect has been arrested in connection to the burglary.
We find it potentially ironic that a Banksy work has been stolen. The renowned public graffiti artist is often on the wrong side of the law, so it's odd that his valuable, legally created portrait work would be the subject of a crime. He's also the subject (kinda) of a new documentary, Exit Through The Gift Shop.
Update: More trouble for Kate Moss. First a burglary, then her house gets flooded. The flood destroyed a lot of her furniture, so the Moss-clan had to move out entirely. Oy!
