If you were aware of this fact, maybe you celebrated by grabbing a hot dog at your local convenience store or hot dog stand. Or maybe, if you've got a lot of money, you celebrated National Hot Dog Day in a way only wealthy can: By plunking down an enormous sum on a fancy hot dog.
