Vicki Gunvalson is a celebrity in the Kim Kardashian vein, except with more obvious plastic surgery, and a smaller paycheck. The owner of a California-based insurance company, Ms. Gunvalson rose to fame appearing on "The Real Housewives of Orange County". She is the only cast member who has been with the show for all seven seasons, and is one of the highest paid women within the "Real Housewives" franchise. One of the tenets of being a "Real Housewife" is having a fabulous house. When Ms. Gunvalson filed for divorce from her business executive husband of sixteen years, Donn Gunvalson, back in 2010, one of the things the couple had to fight about was ownership of their former home together. After two years of rather messy proceedings, which occurred while Mr. Gunvalson underwent treatment for prostate cancer and Ms. Gunvalson began a relationship with a slightly shady new man, the couple finally settled their divorce. So who won the house? Vicki Gunvalson, of course. After all, their mansion is synonymous with her on-air persona.
Vicki Gunvalson's house sits on an acre of land in the swanky Cote de Caza gated community in Orange County, California. The house covers 5,400 square feet, and features a wrap-around terrace, a massive swimming lagoon in the backyard – complete with waterfalls, high ceilings, and multiple fireplaces. Vicki Gunvalson's house also contains multiple marble bathrooms, a large well-appointed kitchen, a dining room that can seat up to ten people, a parlor room with a wet bar, and a separate living room. Though Mr. and Mrs. Gunvalson attempted to sell the house for just under $3 million in 2011, there were no takers. Now Vicki Gunvalson's house is hers, and hers alone.
