Where did Steve Jobs House live? Steve Jobs's house was built in 1925 and is known as the Jackling House. Job's Spanish Colonial Revival style 2 story home has 17,000 square feet, featuring a reported 14 to 30 bedrooms, 13.5 bathrooms, original Spanish tile, and numerous fireplaces. Job's lived in the Spanish Colonial Revival home during the the 80′s and 90′s. Jobs plans to raze the historic home to build a new home under 5,000 square feet with 5 bedrooms and, 2.5 to 3.5 bathrooms. Preservationists have opposed Jobs's tearing down of the historic building.
