Sportscaster Jim Rome, best known for his self-titled radio show, has put his Irvine, California mansion on the market for just under $14 million. "The Jim Rome Show" host is looking to part ways with the three-story home he and his wife, Janet, have lived in for nine years. The home, built in 2007, is located within Irvine's prestigious Shady Canyon. Tucked within a gated golf course community, the lot is described by the listing agent as a private and ideal location. The nine-year-old mansion, framed in palm trees and sitting atop a hill, is priced at exactly $13.995 million.

At 12,309 square feet, the Italian Villa-style home sits atop a nearly 1-acre parcel and comes complete with impressive golf course, mountain, and city views. While the inside of the six-bedroom home contains such impressive amenities as an indoor theater and elevator, the home's backyard boasts its own appeal, coming complete with private courtyards, a large infinity pool, and an outdoor spa.

Inside the home, striking French doors reveal some of the home's most impressive panoramic views. Other impressive interior highlights include the formal living room's barrel ceilings and centerpiece fireplace, which is accented with a marble surround. The main floor also includes a kitchen that connects into a spacious family room, while the executive wing of the property offers two offices.

The upstairs master suite comes with a private balcony and a sweeping panorama of its own. Like many of the home's over-sized rooms, the bedroom provides a spacious layout and relaxing getaway with the perfect view. It comes complete with a high barrel-vaulted ceiling, sharp artisanal trim and décor, and attached spas. Other highlights of Rome's three-level listing include an indoor theater and gym/massage room, as well as a large lounge, full bar, and wine cellar all served by the home's elevator.

Outdoors, pristinely trimmed lawns surround the comfortable private courtyards while the infinity pool provides both a cool dip and an excellent view, creating a private and scenic setting rival to none.

In September of 2015, the Romes sold their 2,500-square-foot ocean side home in South Laguna Beach for $4.95 million after buying it for $5.1 million in 2010.
