Selena Gomez Puts 7,786 Square Foot Home On The Market For $4.495 Million

Most 23 year olds are hoping to find enough roommates to make their rent affordable – and chances are, they are not living in the high-end part of town. However, if you were featured on the children's television series Barney & Friends as a kid, starred in a hit show on the Disney Channel in your teen years, have since starred in a handful of movies, and have become a pop music recording star, the last thing you need is a roommate to help make rent, right, Selena Gomez?

The 23-year-old has been in front of the camera for much of her life, has been a recording star since 2008, and a fashion designer since her clothing line "Dream Out Loud" debuted in K-Marts across the country, in 2010.

So, unlike a typical 23-year-old, she can afford to live without roommates and in the "better" part of town. With a net worth of $20 million, she is certainly not living the apartment life. No, she bought a 7,786 square foot home – sitting on three and a half acres – for $3.69 million. She is now selling that home for $4.495 million, less than two years after she bought it.

Why she has chosen to move out of this incredible home is a mystery, but perhaps it has something to do with the home intruders (one which went to prison on felony charges), and the 911 calls she has made as she fears for her safety. It would be hard to fault a person for not wanting a constant reminder of the fact you may be in danger.

Cooking in a kitchen like this would help make some people forget about some pesky intruders.

If not, sleeping in a room like this would do the trick for a lot of people.

For those tough days, relaxing in her hot tub must have helped take the edge off.

If it didn't she could always go for a swim in her beautiful pool.

Like every good movie/television star, she had a heck of a television room in which to watch her handiwork, or tp entertain friends. Guys – how would you like to watch the Super Bowl here?

Being under the constant scrutiny of the public eye must be tough, but when you have a home like this to escape to dealing with it has to be a little bit easier.

One can only imagine what her next home will be like!
