Mike Judge's Home: Creator of "Beavis and Butthead" Buys in Santa Monica

Mike Judge, the creator of two animated icons of the 1990s, "Beavis and Butthead" and the long-running "King of the Hill" series, has bought a beautiful new home in the coveted Santa Monica neighborhood in California. Sitting on prime real estate, just minutes from the Santa Monica pier, the $4.5 million price tag got him only 3/4 of acre of land, with a 3,700 square foot villa.

This home, built in the mid-1970s, still has a timeless look with it's Mediterranean styling. The classic appearance continues inside with dark hardwood floors, exposed wood beam ceilings and original ironwork found throughout the villa. The kitchen still holds the original style, but high-end stainless steel appliances have been seamlessly installed. The kitchen has its own breakfast bar and is also completely open into the living room.

A highlight for Mike Judge is the master suite with his-and-hers bathrooms, both with impressive showers, walk-in closets and a private balcony overlooking the pool. The home totals 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and 3 fireplaces.

Outside there a small guesthouse that can be used as a home office, which also has a fully-equipped gym. A cool feature is the pool, which is combined with the hot tub and uses saltwater. The whole property is wrapped with a tall hedge, like many Santa Monica properties, for privacy not just from neighbors but from the paparazzi.

Mike Judge actually has another multi-millionaire cartoonist as a neighbor, Simpsons creator Matt Groening, recently moved into an $11.7 million Santa Monica home.
