Linda Hogan Lists Incredible 23-Acre Simi Valley Compound for $5.5 Million

Why go all the way to Tuscany for a tranquil provincial retreat you can move into the Villa di Montagna? Linda Hogan, the television personality and former wife of professional wrestling star Hulk Hogan, has listed the private compound at the Wood Ranch Country Club & Golf Course in Simi Valley, Calif., hoping to move it for $5.5 million.

What you get for that amount are features almost too numerous to mention, but it's worth a try! The 23-acre property encompasses a one-acre private lake with nature reserve, an avocado orchard, and producing vineyard.

The main 6,000-square-foot house has five bedrooms and nine bathrooms altogether. It sits on a hill overlooking all the major property features, and offers clear view of not only the property itself, but also the near neighborhood and the vast Simi Valley. Inside, the house is a study in opulence and confident decorating. There is a two-story grand foyer, with custom chandelier, and great room furnished with carefully selected antiques and a wall created from stone imported from Italy. The family room is a warm place to be, literally, with a fireplace and unbeatable views of the entire property and the valley beyond. The kitchen is outfitted for an enthusiastic chef, with granite-top counters and custom cabinetry, but anyone who is comfortable in European provincial surroundings will also recognize touches like a stone farmhouse sink and copper fixtures. The gourmand area also has a wine tasting room.

Want a water playground? It has that! In the rear of the main house, guests can enjoy an award-winning infinity swimming pool with water slide and waterfall features. If the main house somehow gets filled up, guests can stay in the separate guesthouse.

We know that Simi Valley is a long haul from downtown Los Angeles, about 42 miles and one hour, to be exact. But a helicopter landing area and detached, six-car parking garage make for a warm welcome.

***Update!*** It took three years and a few price chops, but Linda finally found a buyer in June 2018 for $3.5 million.
