Karlie Kloss' House: The Supermodel Gets a Super New House

Random Celebrity Article By on December 3, 2012

If you are skinny adolescent who is growing like a reed, you may just have a career in fashion.  At least that seems to be the trend.  Karlie Kloss, also known as the #2 model in the world according to Model.com, began modeling when she was 15 years old, after she became too tall for ballet.  After signing with Elite Model Management, she quickly booked spreads in Abercrombie, and other catalogues and magazines.  After signing with NEXT Model Management, she began a whirlwind of runway shows, including walking in New York Fashion Week, and appearing in a dizzying number of shows in Paris and Milan.  She was so immediately successful that Elite sued NEXT for the right to claim that they had discovered her.  Since then, she has appeared at the top of everyone's "Best Model List", and has walked in runway shows for such designers as, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, Givenchy, Versace, and Elie Saab, among many others.  She has also appeared in advertisements for just about every clothing, fragrance, or lingerie line currently available.  The 20-year old is also currently the co-host of "House of Style" on MTV.  She recently plunked down a sizable amount of cash to purchase a home in a section of Manhattan where she often works.

Karlie Kloss' house is in the West Village section of Manhattan.  The two bedroom, two bath co-op is a multi-level townhouse, with a private outdoor space.  Karlie Kloss' house features 12 foot ceilings, a living room, a media room/study, and a laundry room.  The eat-in kitchen has state-of-the-art appliances, and the master bedroom has 20 feet of closet space.  There is also a private balcony.  Karlie Kloss' house cost her $1.975 million, but for a model that has opened more fashions show in one month, than some models participate in over the course of year, $1.975 million is probably pocket change.
