Jennifer Love Hewitt's House: Apparently, She Didn't Love Either of Her Properties

Random Celebrity Article By on August 24, 2012

Jennifer Love Hewitt has been working in show business for years.  She started out singing and dancing at local events, and later won the "Texas Our Little Miss Talent" competition.  She and her mother moved to Los Angeles so that she could pursue a career in performance, and she began booking commercial work almost immediately.  This led to a role on the short-lived, but much beloved series, "Kids Incorporated", and then to guest starring roles on a number of television shows and in television movies.  She was eventually cast in the role that would make her a star, as Sarah Reeves Merrin on "Party of Five".  From there, she went back and forth between television and film work, appearing in such projects as "Sister Act 2", "I Know What You Did Last Summer", and "Can't Hardly Wait".  She gained a whole new legion of fans with her work on the television series "The Ghost Whisperer", and earned a Golden Globe nomination for her work in the television movie, "The Client List", which has now been retooled into a series.  Along the way, she bought some property.  She is now unloading it all at once, putting one property up for sale, and another up for rent.

Jennifer Love Hewitt's house for sale is located directly across the street from the house she put up for rent.  It is a large, but somehow modest, six-bedroom, six-bath house that she purchased in the late 90s during her time on "Party of Five".  It is full of brass accents, carpeting, wallpaper decorations, and is generally quite traditional in every way.  It is on the market for $2.895 million.  Jennifer Love Hewitt's house for rent is considerably more in keeping with the vibe of a thirty-something star.  It is 3,216 square feet and has four bedrooms and four bathrooms.  The property sits on directly on Toluca Lake, and has a dock, a swimming pool, a spa, hardwood floors, and a balcony.  The property is up for rent for $12,500 per month.  It is slightly unclear as to why Jennifer Love Hewitt's house is for sale, or why her other property is up for rent, but with the success of her new show, she may just be interested in trading up.
