Did Carmelo Anthony And LaLa Just Buy A $12 Million NYC Condo?

Once more around the park, sir? Oh yes… but which one? Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony and his wife La La, a "Power" actress and best-selling author, gave up their 4,000-square foot rental overlooking Central Park. Now word on the street – West 24th Street – is that they just bought a $12 million condo overlooking the High Line.

It's a smaller pad in a trendier neighborhood – if small means 3,018 square feet, with about 600 square feet of private terrace space covered by 11-foot ceilings. Unbeatable corner views and more than 60 feet of casement windows mean the southeast-facing 8th and 9th floor duplex – just shy of the penthouse – gets drenched in sunlight.

An open kitchen has everything to inspire a seasoned cook to throw down, like a 6-burner Viking commercial-grade stove, a Viking built-in microwave oven, and Sub-Zero wine refrigerator. Oh, and there is a Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer for regular food, too. Like when Moms visit!

Melo is still recuperating from knee surgery, so it's a good thing the master on-suite has a Zuma soaking tub and a steam shower with rain showerhead. If the Anthonys want to burn some carbs, the building has a fitness center, and there is a bike room, if they move in there and decide that's how they want to get around Chelsea.
