Beyonce Knowles is annoyingly talented, or merely annoying, depending on with whom you are talking. After achieving success as one fourth, then one third, of the pop/R&B supergroup, Destiny's Child, Ms. Knowles launched a wildly successful solo career. Her debut album, "Dangerously in Love", was certified four times Platinum, and garnered her five Grammy Awards. Her second solo album, "B'Day", won her another Grammy, and was certified triple Platinum. She also reunited with Destiny's Child for the ridiculously successful "Destiny Fulfilled" tour. She has since released two more albums, "I Am… Sasha Fierce" (certified Platinum in 15 countries and five Grammy wins), and "4″. Along the way, she has been nominated for 508 separate awards, including 40 MTV Video Music Awards, winning eleven, 43 Grammy Awards, winning 16, 14 Billboard Music Awards, winning 7, and received nominations for a Golden Globe and a SAG Award for Best Actress. After marrying producer/rapper/music mogul Jay-Z, it was abundantly clear that Beyonce was on a mission for complete entertainment world dominance. Then she revealed that she was pregnant… on national television… while performing, and it has pretty much been non-stop Beyonce coverage ever since. She most recently made headlines, when she, her husband, and their newborn daughter, Blue Ivy, chose to rent a massive mansion in the Hamptons.
Beyonce Knowles' house in the Hamptons is a rental for one month. Priced at $43.5 million, she and her family will be renting it for the month of August for $400,000. The house, nicknamed "The Sandcastle", comes equipped with nine bedrooms and 11 1/2 bathrooms, spread out over the main house, and a separate guesthouse. Beyonce Knowles' house for the summer sits on 31 acres of land, and also contains a bowling alley with two lanes, a spa, a basketball court, a skateboard ramp, a DJ booth, and a karaoke stage. There are nine fireplaces, a swimming pool, and a garage that can hold up to eight cars. Beyonce Knowles' house almost sounds like it might be worth $400,000 for a month. The amount seems like a huge amount to pay. However, the rental fee is probably not an issue for these two music stars, given that their combined worth is probably equal to two or three small countries at this point.
