Adriana Lima's House: The Stunning Supermodel Puts Her Stunning $5.5 Million Condo on the Market

By on June 3, 2013 in ArticlesCelebrity Homes

Adriana Lima began modeling because a friend of hers wanted to enter a modeling competition and didn't want to enter alone.  Makes you wonder if the two are still friends, doesn't it?  After winning the contest, Ford's "Supermodel of Brazil", she went on to place second in their "Supermodel of the World" contest.  Not too shabby for a 15-year old who had no interest in a modeling career.  Just 15 when she won the major modeling competitions, she chose to remain in her hometown of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil until she was eighteen.  Then she relocated to New York, signed with Elite Management, and proceeded to take the fashion world by storm.  Fast forward to 2013, and she has appeared in ad campaigns for multiple, major cosmetics, clothing, and luxury brands, including GUESS?, Swatch, bb, BCBG, Doritos, Blumarine, Megacity, Mavi Jeans, and she was the face of Maybelline Cosmetics from 2003-2009.  She has also walked the runway for such designers as Armani, Vera Wang, Valentino, and Givenchy.  Additionally, she has appeared on the covers of such magazines as Arena, Vogue, V, Esquire, GQ, Elle, and Marie Claire.  She is most widely recognized for her work as a Victoria's Secret "Angel".  Now a parent of two with basketball player Marko Jaric, she has recently been rearranging her life some, and this has included placing her Manhattan condo on the market.
