Rasheeda began recording her fifth studio album in early 2008 due to the failure of her fourth studio album. Many fans were anticipating the album, and Rasheeda released it in late 2008 to promote her upcoming album, which was delayed multiple times. The EP included 5 songs from her fifth studio album, including one, "Juicy Like a Peach", which was originally a song for Rasheeda's side project, Peach Candy.
